8 Operation and maintenance by the user
The coating of the titanium anode is virtually unaffected by wear. The pilot
lamps must be checked once every month:
Pilot lamp green: mains voltage is present and the CORREX
system is ready for operation.
Pilot lamps off: contact your electrical fitter or the after-sales service.
Pilot lamp red: contact your electrical fitter or the after-sales service for
rectification of the fault.

1. Never operate the hot-water storage tank for more than 2 months without
tapping water from it: Risk of gas formation.
2. The plug-in potentiostat must not be disconnected from the mains supply
while the storage tank is full, or else the corrosion protection is no longer
ensured.
3. The connecting cable between plug-in potentiostat and tank must not be
detached when the tank is full, or else the corrosion protection is no longer
ensured.
4. The CORREX

5. Detach the connecting cable or withdraw the potentiostat from the socket
only after the tank has been emptied.
