3. Align screw holes in upper filter housing to holes in lower housing of vacuum and
secure the 3 screws provided.
4. Place cartridge filter over raised ring in lower filter housing.
5. With filter in place, position lower and upper housings
together and secure clamps.
6. Clean the filter by shaking or gently brushing off excess dirt.
Check the filter for tears or small holes. To prevent damage
to your vacuum, do not use a filter with a hole or tear.
NOTICE

installing it. Check the filter for tears or small holes. Even a small hole can cause dust to
be exhausted. Do not use a filter with holes or tears. Replace it immediately.
WARNING
DEPENDENT ON THE FILTER. A CLOGGED FILTER CAN CAUSE OVERHEATING AND POSSIBLY
DAMAGE THE CLEANER. CHECK THE FILTER PERIODICALLY AND REPLACE AS REqUIRED.
CLOTh FILTER BAG
Cloth filter bag must be in place while operating vacuum. Periodically, or as needed, shake out cloth filter
bag to clean. The cloth bag can be hand washed and air dried. Replace if filter develops rips or tears.
Periodically (once a week) clean, rinse, thoroughly dry and replace the foam filters (middle tank and bottom
cover). Never machine wash or dry filters.
DISPOSABLE FILTER BAG
NOTE: Must be installed inside cloth bag.
1. Disconnect vacuum from electrical outlet.
2. Grasp cardboard collar and slide rubber seal onto inlet fitting on top cover.
3. Press collar firmly to secure.
