Safety Instructions

Caution:
When using power tools, attention must be paid to the following basic
safety measures as protection against electric shocks and against the risk
if injuries and burns. Read and observe these instructions before you use
the device.
1. Keep your working area tidy. Disorder in the working area increases
the risk of accidents.
2. Be aware of surroundings. Never expose power tools to rain or
moisture and do not use power tools in moist or wet environments.
Ensure that there is good lighting. Do not use power tools in the
vicinity of combustible liquids or gases.
3. Protect yourself from electric shock. Avoid bodily contact with
grounded parts. e.g. pipes, radiators, stoves or refrigerators.
4. Keep power tools away from children. Do not let other people touch
the tool or the cord and keep the people away from your working area.
5. Store your tools in a safe place. Unused tools should be stored in a dry,
locked room where children can not reach them.
6. Do not overload your tool. You will work better and more safety in the
specified performance range.
7. Use the correct tool. Do not use any tools or attachments, which are too
weak for heavy work. Do not use tools for purpose and work for which
they are not intended.
8. Wear appropriate working clothes. Do not wear any loose clothing or
jewelry (they could get caught up in moving parts). For outdoor work,
it is recommended that you wear rubber gloves and non-slip footwear.
If you have long hair, wear a hair net.
9. Use safety glasses. Furthermore, use a dusk mask or respirator when
performing any work that generates dust.
10. Do not use the cord for inappropriate purposes. Do not carry the tool
by the cord and do not use the cord in order to pull the plug out of the
socket. Protect the cord from heat, oil and sharp edges.
11. Secure the workpiece. Use clamping devices or a vice in order to hold
the workpiece in a secure position. It is much safer than holding it by
hand and allows you to use both hands to operate the tool.
12. Do not overreach. Avoid any abnormal postures. Ensure that you are
standing securely and keep your balance at all times.
