Lower Exhaust: Using exhaust removal pliers, remove (2) rubber hangers from both sides of exhaust.

Remove Fascia: a) Using 10 mm socket and flat head screwdriver, remove (1) screw and (2) rivets from wheel well, both sides.
b) Using plastic trim tool, remove wheel well trim, both sides.
c) Using flat head screwdriver, remove (1) rivet from under wheel well trim, both sides.
d) Using 10 mm socket remove (1) screw from bottom corner of fascia, both sides.
e) Open trunk to access taillights. Using plastic trim tool, remove cover panels from taillight. Using 10mm socket, remove lowest fastener from under taillight cover. Using Phillips
screwdriver, remove two visible fasteners from lower trunk opening.
f) Using flat head screwdriver, remove (2) rivets from bottom of fascia, both sides.
g) Using plastic trim tool, unclip fascia from vehicle. Disconnect wiring if equipped. Remove fascia by pulling rearward and set aside in safe place.

Remove bumper beam: Using 14mm socket, remove (6) M10 factory bolts attaching bumper beam to vehicle. Return bumper beam to vehicle owner, save for reinstall.

Install hitch: a) Remove plug from access hole shown in Figure 1. Using die grinder, enlarge hole to fit 1/2" carriage bolt ① and spacer ② through hole, both sides of vehicle.
b) Using 11/16" Socket, detach brackets from hitch before installation. Save 7/16" carriage bolts, 7/16 conical washer, and 7/16 nut for reinstall. Apply blue thread locker to all bolts.
Using the reverse pull wire method ⑤, attach the 1/2" carriage bolt ① and spacer ② to pull wire and pull fasteners into position, both sides, see Figure 4. Loosely install
bracket to vehicle frame rail using 1/2" conical washer ③, and nut ④, both sides.
c) Raise hitch into position and loosely install (6) M10 factory bolts, (3) per side. Reinstall 7/16" carriage bolts, 7/16" conical washers and 7/16" nuts removed in step 4b, both sides.

Tighten 7/16" fasteners with torque wrench to 50 Ft.-Lb. (68 N*M)
6.
Tighten M10 factory bolts with torque wrench to 42 Ft.-Lb. (57 N*M)
7.
Tighten 1/2" fasteners with torque wrench to 75 Ft.-Lb. (102 N*M)
8.
Trim Fascia: Trim fascia in area shown in Figure 2. Note: DO NOT cut wires if equipped. For models with kick sensor see Figure 3 for trim modification.
9.
Reinstall fascia, wiring, and exhaust.
Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which has been damaged
should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch. This product complies with safety specifications and requirements for
connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5 and SAE J684.
