INSTRUCTION
CO
-transmitter for duct mounting
2
CO2DT is a transmitter for measuring carbon dioxide (CO
centration in exhaust air. Measuring range 0...2000ppm (CO2DT) or
0...5000ppm (CO2DT-5). Output signal 0...10 V or 4...20 mA for the
full measuring range.
CO2DT is intended for duct mounting.
For 4...20 mA, use the U/I switch located in the transmitter.
Technical data
Measuring principle
NDIR (Non-Dispersive Infrared
Technology)
Measuring range
CO2DT
0...2000 ppm
CO2DT-5
0...5000 ppm
Inaccuracy at 20°C
CO2DT
< ±(50 ppm + 2% of the measured value)
CO2DT-5
< ±(50 ppm + 3% of the measured value)
Temp. influence
typ. 2 ppm / K
Long term stability
typ. 20 ppm / year
Time constant
< 120 seconds
Warm-up time
< 5 minutes
Mounting
CO2DT should be mounted at a place in the duct where it can be
expected to give a representative reading. The transmitter should be
placed at least 4 duct diameters after a bend for minimal turbulence.
Ambient temperature
-5...50°C

Start-up
After applying power to CO2DT, it will take a few minutes before it
shows correct values.
CO2DT is factory calibrated before delivery and does not need

to be calibrated at installation.
CO2DT is calibrated automatically, which means that manual
recalibration is not required during the lifetime of the sensor.
