TOWARDS REAR
OF BIKE
Left-hand side (as you sit on bike)
Remove Honda accessory belly/side fairing.
Remove engine bolt in position arrowed in picture ONE (ensure frame too engine spacer remains
in place). Please note the upper fairing-mounting bracket will have to be removed.
Engage marking tool in the engine mounting hole and using spanner flats tighten until
approximately 38mm to point of tool is protruding from frame bracket.
Refit fairing without the upper fairing-mounting bracket.
Gently tap fairing with the palm of your hand to mark the inside of the fairing.
Remove the fairing panel and drill a pilot hole on the mark left by the marking tool.
Offer the fairing back up to the bike to check the hole position.
When happy that hole is in the right position use a 28mm hole saw and drill through from the
outside to inside. Do not refit fairing at this stage.
Refit the original engine-mounting bolt and tighten.

approximately 20mm to point of tool is protruding from frame bracket.
Refit fairing without the upper fairing-mounting bracket.
Gently tap fairing with the palm of your hand to mark the inside of the fairing.
Remove the fairing panel and drill a pilot hole on the mark left by the marking tool.
Offer the fairing back up to the bike to check the hole position.
When happy that hole is in the right position use a 28mm hole saw and drill through from the
outside to inside.
Remove the marking tool.
Refit the fairing panel and the upper fairing-mounting bracket.
Take the M12x110 mm long bolt and slide one of the plain washers up to the head of the bolt.
Take one of the shake proof washers and slide over the bolt up to the other washer.
Install bolt through one of the protectors and slide the shorter spacer (S0345) up to the protector.
