3.6.7 Remove the plug from the air purge fitting
Note: Only do this task if the analyzer has an enclosure and does not have the optional cationic pump. Refer to
Figure 2
on page 9 to identify the cationic pump.

2. To keep the NEMA rating of the enclosure, do the steps that follow:
a. Connect a 0.3 m (1 ft) length of the supplied 6-mm tubing to the DIPA exhaust vent. Refer to
Figure 16
on page 30 to identify the DIPA exhaust vent.
b. Connect a 0.3 m (1 ft) length of the supplied 6-mm tubing to the air purge fitting.
3.6.8 Plumb the DIPA exhaust
Gas inhalation hazard. Plumb the DIPA exhaust vent to outside air or a fume hood to prevent
exposure to toxic gas.
Note: Only do this task if the analyzer has the optional cationic pump. Refer to
cationic pump.
For analyzers with an enclosure, use the supplied 6-mm OD tubing to connect the DIPA exhaust
vent to outside air or a fume hood. Refer to
