ISPEZIONE E SOSTITUZIONE DELLE CANDELE
1.
Spegnere il motore, chiudere la bombola di Propano e rimuoverlo dalla
macchina;
2.
Tirare fuori il cappuccio della candela;
3.
Togliere la candela ruotandola in senso antiorario e controllarla;
4.
Pulire gli elettrodi [Foto 22-B] utilizzando una spazzola metallica o un
utensile adatto per rimuovere i depositi carboniosi e/o oleosi;
5.
Ispezionare il corpo in porcellana (isolante) della candela e verificare la
presenza di screpolature, usura o altri danni. Sostituire la candela con una
nuova, se necessario;
6.
Controllare la distanza tra gli elettrodi [Foto 22-A] con uno spessimetro e
ripristinare, se necessario. Questa distanza deve essere di 0,75 mm (0,030
in). Per modificare la distanza tra gli elettrodi, piega delicatamente solo
l'elettrodo esterno, utilizzando un utensile per candela;
7.
Installare e serrare le candele a 22 N m (2.2 kgf m, 16 ft lb);
8.
Montare in modo sicuro e saldamente i cappucci sulle candele;
9.
Tirare leggermente i cappucci delle candele per assicurarsi della loro
corretta l'installazione.
Le candele raccomandate sono: NGK BPR4ES
INSPECTION AND REPLACEMENT OF THE SPARK PLUGS
1.
stop the engine, close the Propane tank and remove it from the machine;
2.
Pull out the spark plug cap;
3.
Remove the spark plug by turning it anticlockwise and check it;
4.
Clean the electrodes [photo 22-B] using a wire brush or a suitable tool to
remove the oily and/or carbon deposits;
5.
Inspect the porcelain body (insulating) of the spark plug and check
for cracks, wear or other damage. Replace the spark plug with a new one if
necessary;
6.
Check the distance between the electrodes [photo 22-A] with a feeler gauge
and restore if necessary. This distance should be 0.75 mm (0.030 in). To
change the gap, gently bend only the side-electrode, using a spark plug tool;
7.
Install and tighten the spark plugs to 22Nm (2.2kgfm, 16 ft lb);
8.
Reinstall securely and firmly the caps on the spark plugs;
9. Gently pull the spark plug caps to ensure their correct installation
Recommended spark plug: NGK BPR4ES
