The casters under the back part help load the stretcher on the ambulance. There is an IV holder on the right of the
stretcher A which can be adjusted in height.
The stretcher has a mechanical device to adjust the height of the legs and to help load and unload the stretcher from
a vehicle.
Use handles F and D under the mattress to adjust the height or fold the legs for loading operations.
When unloading the stretcher, make sure the legs are blocked when they are in upright position.
Attention: use the right lever during loading/unloading operations. Do not engage them accidentally! Acciden-
tally unlocking the legs could harm the patient or operator!
MAINTENANCE
Clean the stretcher without using abrasive products or solvents (we suggest using soap and water).
After washing the stretcher dry every part thoroughly.
To disinfect, use a combination of cleaning/disinfecting products.
Dilute the disinfectant following the manufacturer's instructions.
Periodically verify the condition of the mattress and the hinges or joints and plan repair/replacing interventions if nec-
essary.
Periodically control efficiency of brakes on the wheels. Grease the guides under the mattress by the locking device
bolts.
Extraordinary maintenance interventions must be carried out by authorized personnel only.
