4.1
inspecting the contents
Depending on the type of transportation, PASTORE & LOMBARDI uses adequate packaging to prevent
damage and keep the device in good condition in transit. After assembly and factory testing, the Extrac-
tor Fan is prepared and packed for shipping.
On taking delivery of the Extractor Fan, check to make sure that no damage has occurred to its structure
or internal parts in transit. If any damage has occurred, notify the constructor immediately of its extent.
You are advised to accept the goods with reservations to allow a subsequent more thorough check both
for damage and that the items received are as specified in the delivery note.
4.2
Packaging
The packaging inside which the Extractor Fan is supplied provides limited protection against knocks and
falls. In all case, the pack must be handled with care and must not be exposed to the weather without
suitable protection.
The markings on the pack provide the following recommendations:

Packaging material must not be dumped in the environment: subdivide materials by type (cardboard,
plastic, wood, etc.) and consign them to the local waste disposal service in accordance with the relevant
regulations. Do not consign industrial waste or containers which have held it to the municipal waste
disposal service.

The pack is not intended for handling using lifting and transport equipment and must thus be moved
around by hand.
4.3
Storing the partly completed machinery
During storage and transport the pack must not be subjected to mechanical stresses or the weather and
must be kept within the following ambient condition range:
