immediately - even if it only has super-

Do not forget maintenance. (Plug dis-
connected!) Only carry out maintenance
and repairs described in these operating
instructions. Any other work should be
performed by your dealer. Do not grease -
this is unnecessary, as this unit has been
pregreased at the factory.
52. Inspect cooling air slots on the motor
housing at regular intervals for clog-ups
and clean as necessary.
53. Only use original spare parts.
54. Clean plastic parts with a damp cloth. Do
not use aggressive cleaning chemicals.
55. Never hose down the electric tool!
56. Cleaning and maintenance may not be
carried out by children.
57. Store tool indoors in a dry, high or locked
place and always keep out of reach of
children.
Important notice - so your guarantee does not expire:

Always keep the air-intake clean.
•
Never press the cutting head on the ground, when
doing this you brake the turned-on motor.
•
Never hit the cutting head on a hard under-ground,
otherwise you will unbalance and damage the motor
shaft.
6. Assembly
WARNING: Do not touch the gear head immedi-
ately when the product using in a long time, the hot
gear head may scald you.
Shoulder strap (Fig. 2)
A shoulder strap (20) is supplied for your greater comfort.
Simply attach the clip of the shoulder strap onto the strap
onto the hanger at the front of housing body (4).
Connecting the attachment to the upper shaft (Fig. 3)
1. The coupler (17) connects the attachment to the up-
per shaft. Follow these steps to connect the attach-
ment to the upper shaft.
2. Loosen the wing nut (9) by turning it counter clock-
wise.
3. Remove the end cap from the shaft (7).

4. Align the button with the guide recess on the upper

Note: If the button does not release completely in the
positioning hole, upper shaft (10) are not locked. Slightly
rotate the underneath shaft until the button is locked
