• The compressor draws the contaminated air out of
the insulation layer before it is conducted as clean
air back into the room.
• The multi-stage filter chain comprising a water se-
parator, demister fine filter and Class F8 microfilter
is designed to both protect the compressor and pre-
vent the air in the room from becoming contaminated
with coarse particles and different kinds of dust
• The water is separated by diverting the air current
to the water separator's baffle plate.
• The specially developed form of the steel demister
(see fig.1) is adapted to suit the separation volume
of the water separator.
• The microfilters are also adapted to suit the suction
volume of the WA4 and the WA6 water separator.
• A HEPA filter with a filter surface that corresponds
to the compressor (VE4 -1.6 m² / VE 6 - 3.0 m²)
must be inserted.

04. InstAllAtIOn
• Set up the HEPA filter separately or as shown in fig. 3.
• Ensure that the HEPA filter is standing on a level and
firm surface and cannot be knocked over.

• Check the HEPAControl by lifting the filter insert and
the panel. Press the red button on the HEPAControl.
If the red LED lights up, the battery is working properly.
Replace with a CR 2032 button cell if necessary.
• Connect the connecting points of the HEPA filter
labelled OUT with the intake connection of the
compressor (IN).
• Connected the connecting points of the HEPA filter
labelled IN with the vacuum connection of the water
separator (OUT).
• Ensure that the microfilters are correctly installed.
They have to the screwed on to the vacuum adapter
of the WA 6 (see fig. 3). They are already integrated
in the housing of the WA 4i.
05. unInstAllIng tHE unIt
• When the drying operation has been completed,
dispose of the filter inserts and clean and disinfect
both the inside and the outside of the unit.
• Before storing, cover all connecting points with
caps to prevent dust or dirt from entering the unit
during storage.
06. clEAnIng AnD MAIntEnAncE
• Clean the container on the inside when the drying-
operation has been completed or when the unit is in
need of cleaning.
• Release the catches. Remove the cover from the
bottom part of the housing and put to one side.
• Dispose of the filter insert in a proper manner.
• Check the housing, floors and sealing gaskets for any
sign of damage and replace any defect parts if ne-
cessary.
• Check the air intake openings of the filter housing
for deposits.
• Clean with water. Wash off any residue or dirt. Allow
the parts to dry properly.
