When restorative drying is carried out using the va-
cuum method, it has to be ensured that there is an
effective filter chain in place, which is why restoration
firms are obliged by law to ensure that the prescribed
regulations are put into practice and adhered to.
The micro and HEPA filters from Trotec have been de-
veloped especially for use with WA water separators
and VE compressors, as part of the Trotec filter chain,
and are characterised by their optimum filter proper-
ties and high separation efficiency.
The HEPA filter comprises a housing made of synthe-
tic material and a filter element which has to be re-
placed after use. There are four connecting points for
hoses on both the front and the back of the unit. The
connecting points are labelled (IN / OUT) to ensure
that the hoses are connected properly.

• Please ensure that the HEPA H 13 filter is properly
inserted before the MultiQube HEPA filter is ins-
talled. Release the two catches and remove the
cover from the moulded part at the bottom of the
unit and place the HEPA filter in the holding fixture.
Replace the cover and fasten the catches.
• The HEPA filter may only be used to separate sus-
pended particles during vacuum operation. DO NOT
use as a step and DO NOT rest any objects on the
filter.
• Store the HEPA filter in a dry place. The units can be
stacked five high.
• The HEPA filter may only
be used in a filter chain
comprising: water sepa-
rator with demister (see
fig.1) and a microfilter F 8
(see fig. 2).
• When trotec HEPA fil-
ters are used, the se-
paration efficiency in-
creases from 99 % of
all particles >2 µm (mi-
crofilter) to 99.95 % of
all particles up to a size
of >0.3.
• The unit may NOT be
used when the relative
humidity is above 90 % or in the rain.
• The HEPA filters may NOT be used in explosion prone
environments.
• Because the filter inserts may be contaminated after
use, they must be replaced and disposed of in a
proper manner by the user in compliance with nati-
onal regulations and local guidelines.
• The filter must be inserted and the HEPAControl
must be checked before the HC MultiQube is operated.
