3. Inflate the cuff
Press the Start/Stop button. The device con-
ducts a performance test and all the display
elements light up.
Inflation of the cuff is automatic up to ap-
prox. 190 mmHg. If cuff pressure is too low,
the device automatically increases the pres-
sure in increments of approx. 40 mmHg.
4. Blood pressure measurement
After inflation the air is let out automatically,
the falling cuff pressure is displayed and the
„ " symbol flashes. Automatic deflation of
the cuff indicates the end of measurement.
The systolic and diastolic blood pressure
readings will appear in the display together
with your pulse rate.
