These instructions are designed to help the user operate the digital visocor HM40 blood pressure
®
monitor safely and efficiently. The device must be used according to the procedures contained in
these instructions and must not be applied/used for any other purposes. It is important to read and
understand the entire set of instructions. Read through the instructions carefully and familiarise
yourself particularly with the section entitled „Basic rules for blood pressure measurement".
Measuring accuracy can be incorrect if absolute rest is not observed during measurement or if the
conditions indicated (temperature or humidity) are outside the limits set out in the specifications.
Inaccurate results can occur if the blood pressure monitor is used on children. Consult your doctor if
you wish to measure the blood pressure of a child. Under no circumstances may the device be used
on a baby.
The standard cuff fits an wrist circumference of 12,5 to 21,5 centimetres. The device covers pres-
sures up to 300 mmHg and a pulse rate of 40 to 160 beats per minute.
