Capacitive uniaxial inclination sensor with Modbus interface
BSI R11A0-XXR-CXP360-S75G
Enter values (holding register)
Example:
The offset is to be changed (see register table).
The function codes for writing and reading apply to all
holding registers.

Enter direction of rotation (holding register)
The "Direction of rotation" parameter determines whether
the sensor has a positive rotation clockwise (0 = cw) or
counterclockwise (1 = ccw).
Application:
With assembly variant 1,
object and sensor
turn clockwise.
The value 0 = cw has to be
in register 135.
The sensor counts from 0° to 359.99°
With assembly variant 2,
the object turns clockwise
and the sensor
counterclockwise.
The value 1 = ccw has to be
entered in register 135 so that the
sensor does not count backwards (see Section Rotation
axis). The sensor counts from 0° to 359.99°, even though
it is turning counterclockwise.

Enter indicator range (holding register)
The parameter "Indicator range" determines whether
the inclination indicator is in the range 0° to 359.99°
(parameter value = 0) or in the range of –180 to + 179.99°
(parameter value = 1).
Application:
With objects that only turn in one direction from a zero
point (e.g. solar trackers), the 0° to 359.99° indicator has
to be selected.
With objects that turn in both directions from a logical zero
point (e.g. medical tables), the –180 to + 179.99° indicator
has to be selected.

Enter offset (holding register)
The "Offset" parameter determines by how many degrees
the internal 0° position is shifted from the horizontal.
Application:
If the 0° position of the sensor is not level, but is instead
tilted by x° in relation to the machine, this tilt angle can be
declared the 0° position. In other words, the sensor starts
counting from 0° from its tilted zero setting.
In the following example, the zero position is at 45°.
