Use of dust filter system
- the dust filter system with its telescopic action can be
used in both horizontal and vertical working positions
- dust box K ! keeps hanging down straight in all side
handle positions
- ensure that the dust filter system firmly rests against
the wall/floor/ceiling (which also ensures drilling at a
straight 90° angle) $
! always pull switch A 2 to the maximum + select
position 5 with wheel C 2 when using the dust
filter system
- remove drill bit from hole while tool is running to
ensure dust suction performance
- when dust filter system is not mounted, tool can be
used again for drilling wood, metal and plastic

Cleaning filter and dust box ^
In case of reduced dust suction performance, or when
the collected dust has reached "MAX"-level M, filter J
and dust box K should be cleaned
- remove dust box K from dust filter system by pressing
two red tabs N and slightly turning dust box towards
you
- remove filter J from dust box K and knock dust off of
filter
! do not wash filter with soap and water
- empty dust box K
- put back filter J in dust box K until it snaplocks
- slide dust box K onto dust filter system until it
snaplocks
- mount spare filter bag as illustrated, when necessary &
APPLICATION ADVICE
Use the appropriate bits *
! only use sharp bits
For drilling in concrete or stone a steady pressure on the
drill is required
When drilling ferrous metals
- pre-drill a smaller hole, when a large hole is required
- lubricate drill bit occasionally with oil
When turning in a screw at/near the cross cut end or an
edge of wood, pre-drill a hole in order to avoid cracking
of the wood
