hand side of the opening. Seal it by means of kit
or paste.
Put the heat shield back before connecting the
stove to the chimney.
A pre-made opening can always be closed again
using a blanking plate which is fixed by means
of a steel strip and a bolt (see sketch). Such blanking plate is available as a spare
part.
550CB : close the smoke outlets in left and right side panel using the two covers
with Dovre logo. These covers are fixed with joined steel strips and bolts. Seal with
kit or paste.
Lateral connection
Attach the connection collar, which is supplied with the stove, to the smoke outlet at
the requested side, using the two fastening brackets on the inside and the nuts on
the outside (see sketch above). Be sure that the brackets correctly fit into their in-
serts at the left and right hand side of the opening. Seal with kit or paste.
Close the opposite side outlet using one of the two covers with Dovre logo. Fix it
with joined steel strips and bolts (see sketch above). Seal with kit or paste.

3.2.3. Assembling the "cold handle" (550CB)

Assemble the different parts of the
handle, i.e. a screw M8x50, a
wooden handle, a hook and a nut,
as indicated on the sketch.
For some appliances, this handle
can be hooked on a handle holder
which can be mounted on the base
plate of the stove, near the left front
leg (see sketch).
3.3.

Finishing

When the stove is placed in the final position and hermetically connected to the
chimney, you can replace all of the loose parts.
Your stove is now ready for use.
Attention: never light a fire with the inner plates or refractory stones removed.
3.4.

Packaging materials

Packaging materials should be disposed of in a responsible way and in accordance
with governmental regulations.
