27.) Final assembly
First you have to mount the wing onto the fuselage, using the M4 nylon screw. When balancing the
model, support it about 10 cm (4") from the leading edge of the wing with your index finger, as shown.
Move the battery pack forward or backward to balance the model to a horizontal level.
Use of carbon fibre tubes as wing reinforce
If you will use the Rumpler Taube preferably indoors, it is not necessary to reinforce the wings.
If you want to do airbatics or fly even when it is windy, we recommend to install the tubes (included in the
kit). First you have to reinforce the carbon fibre tubes, wrapping self adhesive tape around the ends of
the tubes. Then you have to connect the tubes together with the aluminum joiner, using 5 minute epoxy.

Cut off about 5mm of the leading edge of the wing, according the length of the carbon fibre tubes. Shape a
concave edge, using sand paper, to give the tube a good fit.

25.) Thread the threaded couplers
half way onto the quicklinks. Attach
them to the servo levers and bring
the rudder and elevator into their
neutral position.
Now you cut up the push rods to the
correct length and glue the threaded
couplers with CA glue to the carbon
fiber rod.
26.) Place the receiver between the
battery compartment and the servos.
Run the antenna cable through the
bottom of the fuselage to the outside.
