To sharpen the tungsten electrode, use a sharpening device with a diamond
wheel and the following functional principles:
• The point is sharpened longitudinally through the center axis.
• Automatic regulation of the tungsten electrode drive by gravity.
• Can be set for all electrode diameters.
• Offers continuous angle adjustment.
1 Check screw and plug-type connections for visible damage and tight fit and
replace them if necessary.
NOTICE
• Each time the powder is changed, clean the powder delivery hose with
compressed air to remove powder residues and deposits.
• Never blow compressed air into the front of the nozzles while the torch is
connected. This may soil and destroy the flow meters in the power
source.
2 Disconnect the powder delivery hose and clean it with compressed air on
the system side.
3 Attach the powder delivery hose.
DANGER

unauthorised persons
Improper repair work and modifications to the product may lead to serious
injuries and machine damage. The product warranty will be rendered
invalid if the unit is handled by unauthorised persons.
• Operating, maintenance, cleaning and repair work may only be carried
out by qualified personnel (in Germany see TRBS 1203).
