4.4 Making a redundant connection (option)
Only necessary if the control unit is used as a redundant
control unit.
The control cable between the main control unit and the
redundant control unit signals the redundant control unit if
the pumping unit has been disconnected from the power
supply. In this case the redundant control unit serves as a
fail safe and protects against backwater if necessary.
Replace the existing (black) spacer rings at the connec-
tions on the underside with the enclosed (yellow) spacer
rings.
If applicable, mark the cables from the redundant flap and
redundant probe in the same way.
The redundant control unit should have its own electric
circuit, separate from that of the hybrid lifting station.
