INDICATIONS
Lower back conditions that may benefit
from gross motion restriction, such as:
• Muscular low back pain.
• Sciatica.
• Lumbosacral strains.
• Chronic low back pain.
PERFORMANCE
The device provides lumbar spine gross
motion restriction.
The device reduces stress on the low
back in flexion and extension.
CONTRAINDICATION
Must not be used by individuals for
whom compression is contraindicated.
WARNINGS • PRECAUTIONS OF USE
This product contains Naturel Rubber
Latex which may cause allergic
reactions.
Patients suffering from pelvic floor
weakness should consult with their
medical professional before using the
orthosis.
Do not wear for extended periods
without medical follow-up.
The orthosis must not be used in direct
contact with a damaged skin.
The orthosis is a single patient use
device. Do not use for multiple
patients.
If any problems occur with the use of
the orthosis, e.g. pain or appearance
of local signs, remove the orthosis and
contact your healthcare professional
The user and/or patient must
report any serious incident that has
occurred in relation to the device to
the manufacturer and the competent
authority of the Member State in which
the user and/or patient is established.
Gradual withdrawal possibly combined
with functional physiotherapy.
MEASUREMENT AND SIZE CHART
The size is to choose in accordance with the waist circumference, measured
2 cm above the iliac crests (in cm).

FEATURES OF THE DEVICE
The device is a lumbar stretchable
belt featuring four V-shaped posterior
stays.
Ergonomic finger loops facilitate
installation.
SET UP AND OPERATION
The first application must be
carried out by a qualified healthcare
professional to understand the correct
fitting and how to put the device on
properly. Subsequently, the product
should be put on the patient in the
same way by the user or a family
member or a friend.
During testing, the fitter must shape
the V-shaped stays of the brace to
adjust
it to your morphology.
The belt is worn under the clothes or
over the undergarments.
1) Position the bottom of the belt on
the top of gluteal cleft.
2) Centre the dorsal rib on either side
of the spinal column. The Gibaud logo
must be on the right.
3) Tighten the belt based on the
intensity of the pain and type of
activity, to obtain a tighten firm but
comfortable.
CARE INSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE AND
DISPOSAL
Keep the belt away from direct heat
sources (radiators, dryers...).
30°C mild fine wash (Hand wash); rinse
thoroughly. Wring out gently; do not
bleach; dry flat, do not tumble dry; do
not iron; do not dry clean.
The device and packaging must
be disposed of in accordance
with respective local or national
environmental regulations.
