4.2.2 Shred paper
■ Insert the paper into the centre of the feed shaft (4). The cutting
rollers are switched on automatically.
■ Let go of the paper. The device switches back to standby mode
after shredding is completed.

4.2.3 Reverse run mode

■ Slide the operating switch (2) to the "Rev" position. The rollers of
the paper cutting system rotate in the opposite direction.
■ Slide the operating switch (2) to the "Auto" position.
■ Switch approximately three times successively between the posi-
tions "Rev" and "Auto".
■ Switch off the device and remove the jammed paper or plastic card
from the feed shaft (4).
4.2.4 Emptying the bin
■ To switch the device off, slide the operating switch (2) to the "Off"
position.
■ Lift the Document shredder attachment (1) ff of the waste bin (7).
■ Empty the bin.
■ Put the Document shredder attachment (1) back on the waste bin
(7).

4.2.5 Switching off the device

■ Slide the operating switch (2) to the "Off" position.

Empty the bin frequently in order to prevent damage to the
device.
These modes serve to remove any blockages in the cutter
system.
