To work with the steam cleaner
Press the steam cleaner button and direct the steam
towards the surface to be cleaned. Clean off the dirt by
directing the set of steam backwards and forwards over
the surface. Steam will escape from the nozzle once you
release the steam button. You can wipe off the dirt with a
clean cloth or sponge. Surfaces of certain materials can
be very hot. Careful!
Never direct the steam to any one point for too long.
Always try out the steam cleaner first on a not obvious
point!
Always use the cleaning cloth to clean wood and
linoleum flooring. The steam cleaner is not suitable for
cleaning non-sealed wood floors or soft plastic and
wood furniture.
Never use the appliance on cold glass since the hot
steam can crack the glass.
One tank full will last about 25 minutes.
To refill the water tank
Should no steam be discharged but the appliance
is switched on, this means that then the water tank is
empty. The red control lamp will come on in this case.
Immediately switch off the appliance by means of the
on/off switch and disconnect the mains plug. Allow the
appliance to cool down for at least 5 minutes before
refilling with water. Only unscrew the safety valve after
the appliance has cooled down.
The water in the tank is always still hot even after the
appliance has cooled down even for 5 minutes. Care-
fully unscrew the steam safety valve because hot steam
can still be discharged.
The safety valve should never be opened while the
appliance is in use (tank is under pressure).
After steam cleaning
Switch off the appliance once you have finished clean-
ing. Disconnect the mains plug and allow the appliance
to completely cool down (for approx. 5 minutes).
Store the steam cleaner in a dry cool place
