Other modes
AUX
External peripheral devices with RCA audio and video outputs can be connected with the unit.
To enter AUX IN mode, open the SOURCE MENU and then touch AUX IN.
Camera
This player is "camera ready". Before accessing any camera features, youmust purchase andinstall a rear-
video camera. Once the rear camera is connected and operating properly, the CAMERA source mode will
become active. While the camera is not installed, the CAMERA option appears gray, indicating the function
is not available. The playing source will change to 'CAMERA' mode automatically when you reverse your car.
NAV
This player is "navigation ready". Before accessing any navigation features, you should purchase and install
the suited navigation module. Once the navigation module is connected and operating properly, the NAV
source mode will become active. While the navigation module is not installed, the NAV option appears gray,
indicating the function is not available. All installation and operating instructions are included with the navi-
gation module.
There is the possibility of maintaining the navigation-interface on the screen (optional NV003), while listening
to the Audio coming from one of these sources: Radio/DVD/CD or USB/SD-card.
During the NAV-mode, the music-volume will reduce automatically, every time the Navigation-unit comes
with a road-indication, so that the navigation-voice will prevail.
Once the musical source has been selected, keep the DISP-key, situated on the front-panel, pressed for 2
seconds, or, if you prefer, the WIDE-key on the remote-control unit.
The VM041 will shift to the navigation-interface , while the Audio continues unchanged.
BLUETOOTH-System/Software 2.9 (OPTIONAL 6/860)
The Bluetooth-system is a wireless transmission-mode for small distances (up to 10 metres).
With the 6/860-device you can connect your Bluetooth-mobile-phone (with software up to 2.0), to the
VM041.
On the basis of such connection, the mobile-phone can be governed on the VM041 directly.
