05-353
- Appliances operated with a remote control such as TV, video
and audio, are not affected by the transmitters that operate
according to the Easywave protocol. The transmitters (Easywave)
need not be optically directed to the receiver. The range indoors
is approx. 30m, the open field range is 100m. The transmitter
range depends on the materials used in the building. To determine
the RF signal strength in a given environment, you can use the
diagnostic unit 05-370. This unit detects all 868.3Mhz signals.
The reception quality of the transmitted signal or the strength
of any interfering signals is indicated by 9 LEDs. This allows
you to determine whether the range of the RF transmitter is
sufficient.
Check for interference caused by changes in the system's
environment (metal cabinets, walls or furniture moved...). Restore
the original condition, if possible.
- ATTENTION! When mounting the receiver in a metal distribution
box, the external antenna 05-309 has to be used. The antenna
does not increase the range. Inlet opening for the connector:
approx. 15mm.
