Remove the two belts from the metal connec-
tor (Fig. 44).
Position the metal connector in its specific slot
(Fig. 45).
Open the cover, remove the shoulder straps,
separating them by pressing on the connect-
ing ring (Fig. 46).
Remove the belts and take off the shoulder
straps, conserving for future use.
WARNING! When refitting 5-point belts re-
member to pass the belts above the metal pin
(Fig. 47). Open the buckle (Fig. 48). Roll every
belt and the corresponding flap up (Fig. 49a)
and place the rolled up belt in the compart-
ment in the backrest (Fig. 49b). Remove the
padded crotch strap (I). Remove the buckle
from the upholstery (Fig. 50 a). Turn the buckle
90° placing the belt into the opening and pull-
ing the buckle upward (Fig. 50 b). Remove the
polystyrene, insert the buckle in its seat and
place the polystyrene again (Fig. 50 c).
13. SEATING THE CHILD IN THE CHILD CAR
SEAT
Before sitting your child in the child car seat,
press the belt adjustment button (F) and, at
the same time, hold the two child car seat
harnesses under the shoulder straps and pull
them towards you to slacken them.
Unfasten the buckle (J) of the child car seat
belts by pressing the red button and pull the
harnesses in an outward direction. Now you
can sit your child in the child car seat.
Position the crotch strap correctly (I), take the
belts, overlap the two buckle straps (Fig. 51-
52) and push them together firmly inside the
buckle slot until you hear a loud click (Fig. 53).

Cleaning and maintenance operations must
only be carried out by an adult.
How to clean the fabric cover
The child car seat's fabric cover can be re-
moved and washed by hand or in a washing
machine at
30°C. Please refer to the care label for instruc-
tions on cleaning the seat fabric.

Never use abrasive detergents or solvents. Do
not spin dry the cover and leave to dry
without wringing out. The fabric cover must
only be replaced with another cover ap-
proved by the manufacturer,
since it is an integral part of the child car seat
and, therefore, one of its safety features.
WARNING! To ensure the safety of the child
car seat, never use it without its fabric cover.
To remove the fabric cover follow the instruc-
tions below:
- Remove the headrest beginning with the
top part (Fig. 54)
- Remove the elastic from the diagonal belt
guides (B) (Fig. 55)
- Remove the elastic attached to the headrest
(Fig. 56)
- Remove the seat cover starting from the top
(Fig. 57)
How to clean the plastic or metal parts
Clean the plastic and coated metal parts with
a damp cloth only. Never use abrasive deter-
gents or solvents. The movable parts of the
child Car seat must not be lubricated.
CHECKING THE CONDITION OF THE COM-
PONENTS
It is recommended to regularly check the con-
dition of the following components to make
sure they are not damaged or worn:
• fabric cover: check that the padding does
not come out from the seams.
Check the condition of the seams: they must
always be intact and undamaged.
• belts: check that the fabric lining is not frayed
or the harness strap worn out in the parts cor-
responding to the adjustment strap, crotch,
