•
Do NOT try to move the ladder while standing on the ladder.
•
Never use the ladder on stairs that are not level. Otherwise the ladder can
tip over or you could lose your balance.
•
Only use the ladder when fully assembled, and only in those positions
that are described in this user manual.
•
If using the ladder as a straight ladder, do not climb higher than the third
last rung. If using the ladder as a stepladder, do not climb higher than the
second last rung.
•
Always wear sturdy footwear with a non-slip sole when using the ladder.
Only wear close-fitting clothing that cannot get caught on the ladder.
•
Always keep the ladder dry, clean and free of rubble and foreign bodies.
Clean the ladder after each use.
•
It is always recommended to have the ladder held firm by another person.
This increases the stability of the ladder.
•
Always ensure that the ladder is protected against damage (e.g. unse-
cured work materials) when transporting in a vehicle. When transporting
the ladder on a roof rack or in a truck, the ladder must always be suitably
secured (tied down). Always ensure there is adequate load safety.
•
The 3-in-1 multi-function ladder must be put up in the correct position,
e.g. the correct angle for straight ladders (inclination angle approx. 1:4),
for stepladders, they must be completely open with rungs or treads
horizontal.
•
The 3-in-1 multi-function ladder must never be repositioned from above.
•
When positioning the 3-in-1 multi-function ladder, pay attention to the risk
of collision, e.g. with pedestrians, vehicles or doors.
•
Do not lean too far out from the 3-in-1 multi-function ladder. Users should
keep their belt buckle (the navel) between the stringers and stand with
both feet on the same step/rung.
Set up
All base crossbeams must be attached before use.
•
Remove the transport locks at both ends of the ladder.
•
Mount the base crossbeams to the respective end of the ladder stringers
at the end of the ladder and secure these with the assembly material
included in the delivery contents.
•
Do NOT use the ladder without the mounted base crossbeams, except
when this is expressly prescribed.
•
Always check that the base crossbeams are securely attached before
placing weight on the ladder.
•
Only use the base crossbeams supplied.
