3.0 Maintenance
3.1 Mounting stem (pic C)
The grinding machine SAMBA is shipped in 2 separate
boxes. Mount the handle with 4 screws to the machine.
Connect the cable to the socket (11) in the housing.
3.2 Mounting disc holder, pads and brushes (pic B)
Lay the machine down on the handle. Thus the support of
the discs is accessible.
Put the mounting disc on the actuation and lock it by
turning anti-clockwise.
3.3 Assembly of the suction (pic H+I+J)
The retainingbasket of the suction is attached to two
brackets on the shaft of the stem.
► Release upper plastic holder (7) and push upwards
► Insert the holding basket of the vacuum cleaner in the
lower plastic holder (8).
► Push the upper plastic holder (7) downwards until the
holding basket is fi xed and tighten again.
► Insert the cable into the socket (6) on the handle
► Push the fabric cuff (pic I+J) of the suction ring from
below over the housing of the machine and screw tight
with the two clamping straps. Connect the hoses with
the suction. (pic H)
3.4 Dust seal ring for external extraction (pic K)
Place the machine over the dust sealing ring and connect
the nozzle to the vacuum cleaner.
3.5 Assembly of the cleaning tank (pic D)
The basket of the cleaning tank is attached to two
holders on the shaft of the handle.

► Release upper plastic holder (7) and push upwards
► Loosen the tank in the lower plastic holder and push it
upwards.
► Push the upper plastic holder (7) downwards until the
tank is fi xed and tighten again.
► Insert hose as shown in picture G
► Attach chain as in picture E+F
3.6 Use of the grinding, milling and cleaning
controllers
For the grinding machine SAMBA we off er a variety of
attachments and plates. To help you choose the right
attachment for your application, we would like to give you
a few recommendations.
The short overview is a guideline for the application and
the recommended attachment or plate. See 3.7 for a
detailed description of each plate and disc.
3.7 Use
3.7.1 Screeds + levelling compounds
Cleaning and brushing
Paper grinding disc grade 24, corrugated steel-brush disc
Removing light dirt and fl ooring residues like paint,
mortar, felt or foam
Carbide grinding disc grade 16 cylindrical brush disc,
fl at steel brush disc
Removing tough dirt and fl ooring residues like
adhesive, felt or foam
Carbide grinding disc grade 16
Removing tough and tenacious adhesive (bituminous)
residues
System carbide milling wheel disc
Removing Epoxy-and PU-laquer
System carbide milling wheel disc
Removing Epoxy-coatings
System diamond milling disc
