Always to do:
• Inform, teach and train each operator
according to the contents of this
manual.
• Follow the instructions written in this
manual.
• Use the entire polar surface of the lifting
magnet and make sure about its proper
state and cleaning.
• Always consider the evidence of air
gaps, minimum surface thickness and
material typology.
• Position the lifter on the center of
gravity or use more lifters.
• Make sure to turn the lever to
the locked on position before
lifting the load.
• Start to lift the load only after
correct positioning and making
sure no people are nearby the
load.
• Do the pre-test to ensure the
operational safety.
• Operators have to use all the
safety devices required by law
and by the employer.
• Ensure good condition of the
lifting equipment attached to the
lifting magnet.
• Check the WLL suitability of the lifting equipment attached to the lifting magnets.
• For long loads to lift use more lifting magnets with an optional device to connect the lifting magnets.
• Lift the load strictly vertically.
• For all cases not mentioned in this manual ask the manufacturer.
• Before lifting not mentioned material typology ask the manufacturer.
Never to do :
• Operate a damaged or malfunctioning magnet.
• Use a magnet with missing parts or illegible label.
• Use the lifting magnet ignoring the information in this operating manual.
• Operate the magnet without having read and understood the operating manual.
• Let not professionals use the lifting magnet.
• Lift or transport persons.
• Lift and move the load when persons are nearby.
• Move the lifting magnet by the lever.
• Leave the lifting magnet in a non safe place.
• Change or modify the lifting magnet.
• Stand under the lifted load.
• Let the load swing/wave.
• Suddenly stop the load or shock loading.
• Leaving suspended loads unattended.
• Lift the load without considering WLL.
• Lift a load having a length over the length dimension limit indicated on the lifting magnet plate and on page 4.
• Place the magnet with the long side lengthwise on a flexible workpiece.
• Load the lifting magnet laterally.
• Change the lift load orientation.
• Lift an un-balanced load.
• Use the lifting magnet in a place where managing explosive material.
• Immerse the lifting magnet in water.
• Lift a non recommended load.
• Lift a load not considering the evidence of air gaps, minimum surface thickness and material typology.
• Lift loads higher than necessary
