1. General

Many thanks for choosing pewag winner profimag lifting magnet. This publication is to be
considered as an integral part of the magnet. It is printed to get started and to know how to
use pewag lifting magnets. They may only be used in consideration of the instructions after the
operating manual is read and understood. The user must have access to the operating manual until
withdrawal of the lifting magnet. The manual is updated continuously and valid only in the latest version.

2. Intended use

pewag winner profimag lifting magnets are portable lifting equipment made to magnetize ferrous and magnetic
material. They are built using Neodymium magnets in order to grab ferrous material of flat or cylindric shape
convenient to get in direct contact with it without using an additional tool or electricity.
Portability, proved design and easy-to-use grant an extended range of use.

3. Environmental use conditions

pewag profimag lifting magnets are designed to work in environmental conditions from -10° C (14° F) up to 80° C
(176° F), with humidity max. 80 %.
In addition, make sure that the load to lift is no more than 60° C (140° F). Metals have a magnetic loss at high
temperature.

4. Restriction of use

Working load limit (WLL) represents the maximum lifting capacity in the best conditions as mentioned in the table on
page 4 and point 3. Under certain conditions pewag winner profimag lifting magnets can only be used with limited
working load. There are four factors that reduce the working load limit.
It is very important to be well aware about them to know the reduction of load capacity and take it under
consideration when planning the lifting of a load.
