2. Place the extractor hood (29) onto the thicknessing table
plate. Make sure that the both stop pins engage in the holes
of the thicknessing table plate.
3. Turn the crank handle (15) clockwisely until the extractor
hood (29) is securely clamped by the thicknessing table
plate.
4. Fix the extractor hood using the nut M6 and a washer A 6.4.

5. Remove the crank handle (15).
6. Push the extractor connector (31) on the extractor hood.
7. Connect the shavings extractor with the extractor connector
(31).
Planing and joining workpieces
Adjusting the guide plate (1)
1. Loosen the locking lever (21).
If you can not sufficiently turn the locking lever, pull out the
lever head and turn it back.
2. Tilt the guide plate to your desired angle which you can read
from the angle scale (22).
3. Tighten the locking lever (21) again.
Adjusting the depth of cut
1. Turn the adjusting screw for the depth of cut (4).
2. You can read it from the depth of cut scale (3).
Adjusting the blade shaft guard
1. Push the workpiece against the guide plate.
2. Loosen the clamping screw for the blade shaft guard (16).
3. For flat workpieces (< 75 mm):
Push the blade shaft guard (12) against the guide plate (1)
and lift it according to the workpiece thickness.
Push the workpiece somewhat below the blade shaft guard
and lower the latter onto the workpiece.
4. For high workpieces (> 75 mm):
Lower the blade shaft guard down to the table plate and
push it against the workpiece.
Planing
1. Start the motor.
2. Push the workpiece right-angled over the feed table plate.
NN
3. Hold your fingers close to each other and guide the
workpiece with flat hands or with pushing bars over the feed
table plate.
4. When planing narrow surfaces (joining edges) push the
workpiece with both hands and clenched fists against the
guide plate and the table plate and push it over the feed

block (27)
6. Press down the workpiece only on the delivery table.
7. Turn the machine off if the work is not immediately
continued.
Skewing
Q
1. Place the workpiece against the tilted guide plate.
2. Adjust the blade shaft guard so that it just contacts the
workpiece and tighten the clamping screw for the blade shaft
guard.
3. With your left clenched fist press the workpiece against the
guide plate and the delivery table plate. Push the workpiece
with your closed right hand over the feed table plate.
4. Turn the machine off if the work is not immediately
continued.
Thicknessing
The purpose of thicknessing is to make the workpiece with
already planed surface thinner.
For this the workpiece is guided through the machine and
machined on its top surface. The already planed surface faces
the thicknessing table plate. The feed direction is exactly the
other way round as for planing from left to right.
When thicknessing a step will be formed on the lead and
tail edges of the workpieces. Therefore cut the workpiece
to length only after thicknessing

Preparation

Pull the mains plug before performing
settings.
Installing the dust extractor
1. Loosen the clamping screw (16) and push the blade shaft
guard off from the table plate.
2. Adjust the guide plate (1) to 45°.
3. Place the extractor hood (29) onto the planing plate. Make
sure that the both star grip screws (30) are aligned with the
holes in the planing plate.
4. Tighten the star grip screws (30). Make sure that the contact
for the safety switch (28) rests on the safety switch.
5. Push the extractor connector (31) on the extractor hood.
6. Connect the shavings extractor with the extractor connector.
Thicknessing
S
1. Adjust the depth of cut.
In a single pass the machine can cut 2 mm as a
maximum. However do only adjust this depth if:
- your blades are very sharp,
- you machine soft wood types,
- you machine workpieces the width of which is
smaller than the maximum width.
