Use only the original attachment combs.
Do not use a damaged attachment comb.
WARNING before working on or with animals
Working on animals should only be performed by people who are experi-
enced in cutting animal hair or who work under the guidance of an experi-
enced person.
Do not use the device on a restless or aggressive animal.
Animals must be calmed down and, if necessary, fixed before cutting.
Make sure that your workplace is quiet and always work with the necessary
caution.
Depending on the type of animal, protective gloves may be required as per-
sonal protective equipment.
Stop working immediately if the animal behaves conspicuously or becomes
aggressive.
ATTENTION! Risk of material damage
The cutter head is a precision part. Protect it against damage.
In order to avoid increased wear of the cutter head and motor, the cutter head
must be cleaned and oiled regularly (see "Cleaning and care" on page 18).
Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents.
The battery charger is fitted with non-slip plastic feet. As furniture is coated
with a wide array of varnishes and synthetics, and is also treated with differ-
ent care products, it cannot be fully ruled out that some of these materials
contain components that could attack and soften the non-slip plastic feet. If
necessary, place a non-slip mat under the appliance.
Protect the appliance against heat (e.g. direct sunlight), chemical substances
(e.g. perm agents) and mechanical damage (e.g. by dropping).
