Primary drive gear
1. Install:
Straight key 1

2. Install:
Primary drive gear 1
Conical washer 2
Nut (primary drive gear) 3
NOTE:
Temporarily tighten the nut at this point.
Install the conical washer to the crankshaft
4 as shown in the illustration.

Primary driven gear

4. Tighten:
Nut (primary drive gear) 1
NOTE:
Place an aluminum plate a between the teeth
of the primary drive gear 2 and driven gear
