INSTALLING THE BATTERIES
1. Remove bolts
2. Remove battery cover
3. Remove CR2032 battery
4. Remove battery film
5. Reverse steps to reassemble
Use only the supplied 2mm T-handle hex wrench to install the battery cap screws. The torque spec for
the cover bolts should be finger tight, no more than 8.8 in-lbf (1.0 Nm).
Complete the steps above for each crank arm that's equipped with a power meter.
When installing the battery, make sure the text on the battery is facing away from the crank arm.
Download the Specialized Power Cranks app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to
activate the pod(s).
ACTIVATING AND PAIRING THE POWER METER
To activate and link the power meter pod(s), download and follow the step-by-step instructions in the Specialized Power Crank app.
Once the pod(s) are activated and linked to each other (dual pod option only), they can be paired with an ANT+ or Bluetooth Low Energy
(BLE) head unit or a compatible smartphone cycling app (e.g. Strava, Zwift) to display and record the power and cadence data.
For dual pod setups, a unique ANT ID is etched on the plastic housings of each pod. Once the pods are
linked to each other, only the non-drive side ANT ID will be broadcast for the head unit pairing process.
1. Rotate the crank a few times to wake up your power meter.
2. Select 'Add power sensor' on the head unit, then confirm the ANT ID to pair.
The pods will return to sleep mode if they do not move for two minutes.
ZERO-OFFSET CALIBRATION
You must perform a zero-offset calibration on your power meter after installation and activation. It is recommended that you perform
a zero-offset calibration once a week to keep your power meter readings consistent.
1. Wake up your power meter by rotating the crank a few times.
2. Align your crankset at the 6 and 12 o'clock position. On your head unit, select 'Zero-offset' or 'Calibrate'.
When performing a zero-offset calibration, the head unit will display one of the following codes:

10 Success
20 Crank movement detected
40 Firmware mismatch
50 Firmware error
0 Power meter not found
99 Power meter side not found
CARING FOR YOUR POWER CRANK SET
The pods on the Power Cranks are designed for maximum water resistance. When properly sealed, the pods can be submerged 1
meter deep for 30 minutes (IPX7). To ensure maximum water resistance, always make sure the o-ring is present and properly seated
when installing the battery caps.
If using a power sprayer to clean the bike, do not allow the spray to make direct contact with the pods. A high pressure spray can
bypass the o-ring seal.

INSTALLATION DES PILES

ENTRETIEN DE LA MANIVELLE POWER
Les blocs sur les manivelles Power sont conçus pour une étanchéité maximale. Lorsqu'ils sont correctement fermés, les blocs sont
étanches à 1 mètre pendant 30 minutes (IPX7). Pour assurer une étanchéité maximale, assurez-vous que le joint torique est en place
et correctement installé lorsque le couvercle du compartiment à piles est refermé.
Si vous utilisez un pulvérisateur pour nettoyer le vélo, ne dirigez pas le jet sur les blocs. Un jet haute pression peut endommager le
joint torique.
