48 mm).
• Dimensioni monitor VM/200 SURF -
VM/203 SURF: 192x220x112 mm.
Il fusibile F1 di protezione tipo T 630mA
5
è situato sul circuito stampato del sup-
porto (fig. 3-5).
Fusibile: F = rapido, T = ritardato.
Fissaggio del monitor
al supporto da parete
Assicurarsi che il dispositivo di bloccag-
gio C sia spostato verso destra (posizio-
ne aperta
fig. 3).
Posizionare il monitor nel supporto da
parete B, innestarlo al supporto stesso
7
con movimento verso il basso e quindi
bloccarlo in tale posizione mediante il
dispositivo C. Nell'eseguire tali opera-
zioni agire secondo l'ordine ed il senso
indicati dalle frecce di fig. 4.
Fissaggio del monitor
al supporto da tavolo
Inserire l'elemento E nell'apposita sede
situata sul retro del monitor e bloccarlo
con la vite corta in dotazione (fig. 6).
Applicare il supporto da tavolo F aggan-
ciandolo prima dalla parte superiore
(fig. 7) e bloccandolo poi al monitor con
le due viti lunghe in dotazione (fig. 8).
Inserire la spina del cavo di collega-
mento nella presa.

INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING FOR THE INSTALLER
These instructions should be atta-
ched to the receiver.
VM/200 - VM/200 SURF
MONITOR WITH HANDSET
Monitor with video and secrecy of spee-
ch. With this monitor, the video signal
may be transmitted by either a coaxial or
twisted pair.
The monitor is equipped with the fol-
lowing controls, figure 1:
ON/OFF-brightness control (side
thumb-weel D)
Entry panel activation (
Stair light control (
Door release control (
•
Aux 1 - auxiliary control button.
(1) The activation of the monitor and its
subsequent connection to the external
entry panel, are only possible if the
system is not engaged by other conver-
sations.
(2) The stair light and door release con-
trols may only be activated by the moni-
tor when it is switched on.
9
WARNINGS FOR THE USER
- Please do not open or tamper the
device (high voltage!).
- Please avoid knocking or bumping
the apparatus as it could result in the
breakage of the picture tube and the
consequent projection of glass frag-
ments.
- In the case of breakdown or modifi-
cation of the apparatus of the system
(such as power supplier ...) please
contact a specialized maintenance
service.
Personal door-bell button
The monitor is fitted with a differentiated
call input (i.e.: for calls from the landing
and external entry panel) a two-tone
call, figure 9.
VM/203 - VM/203 SURF MONITOR
WITH INTERCOM AND HANDSET
This monitor has the same features and
controls as the VM/200 model, but is
also equipped with 3 buttons for com-
munication with other intercom units,
and a red LED which indicates when
the line is busy, figure 2.
The monitor permits to identify the sour-
ce of a call: a continuous call tone iden-
tifies calls from other intercom units and
a two-tone call identifies calls from the
external entry panel (or from the lan-
ding).
A call from the entry panel during an
internal conversation between two
intercom units is indicated by the acti-
vation of the monitor and the emission
of a low acoustic signal. In this case,
communication with the entry panel
(and hence the possibility of activating
both the door release control and the
stair light relay) may be established by
hanging the handset of the intercom
unit currently in use and lifting the
handset of the one signalling a call.
The monitor requires the use of
VSE/200.
.
01
Entry panel selection in systems
with several entrances
The VSI/200 selector allows you to
select the external entry panel or came-
ra from the monitor in sequential mode.
To operate the selector: press the entry
panel activation button to turn-on the
monitor; and then press the stair light
control button to select the entry
panels.
NOTE. In the event a call is made from
the entry panel, the selection in pro-
gress is interrupted.
If the external call is addressed to the
monitor making the selection, the moni-
tor displays the image filmed at the
external entry from where the call was
made.
If the call is addressed to another moni-
tor, the image disappears from the
monitor.

Fuse: F = fast, T = slow.
Fixing the monitor
in the wall mounting
Make sure the latch C is on the open
position (
), i.e. pushed to the right
hand-side, figure 3.
Insert the monitor into the wall support
B, push it downwards until the monitor
card is firmly inserted into the terminal
connector of the wall connecting frame.
Slide the latch C to the left to block the
monitor.
Figure 4 shows the correct sequence to
insert the monitor into the wall support.
Fixing the monitor
in the table-top mounting
Insert the back frame E into the monitor
recess and secure it with the two provi-
ded short screws, figure 6.
Attach the support F, inserting the top
first, figure 7, and secure it with the two
provided long screws, figure 8.
Insert the connecting cable plug in the
socket.
