INSTALLING THE BATTERY
The electrical installation should be carried out by qualified personal only, according to
the regulations for electrical and mechanical safety in your country.
To keep the battery in good condition it should be recharged immediately after it was
discharged! Never store a discharged battery for a longer period!
The battery should always be used in horizontal position, ventilation must be provided during
charging and use of the battery.
Selecting and buying the right battery:
For logistical reasons (different regulations for battery recycling in EU-
countries) the battery is not included!
The LDP-ACCUSPOT uses a standard rechargeable lead/acid battery that can
be easily obtained from your local battery specialist or from major online
suppliers all over Europe.
Here we provide you some links to online resellers. Please note that

cannot guarantee the quality of their products! We just give you some examples
of batteries that could be used in the projectors.

Many other suppliers available, don't hesitate to do a web search!
Once you selected a website, look for the following specs:
On the site do a product search for: 12V 24Ah (voltage and capacity of the battery)
Check if the dimensions correspond to that of the drawing (depth and width can be swapped)
Select a sealed, maintenance free lead battery with minimal self discharge.
Installing the battery in the projector:
Switch the projector off and remove the mains cable.
Remove the 4 screws as indicated on picture "A".
Move the back panel gently towards you to open the battery compartment: inside the compartment you will
find a black and red wire.
Put the battery in front of the compartment and connect the wires FIRMLY to the contacts of the battery.
Make sure that the RED wire is connected to the "+" and the BLACK wires is connected to the "-" on the
battery.
Make sure to put the contact isolators in place to avoid short circuits while sliding the battery in the
compartment.
Attach the "Velcro" belt firmly around the battery (picture "B"), later it will help you to remove the battery.
Slide the battery gently in the compartment, make sure that the wires are not squeezed. (picture "C")
Close the compartment again using the 4 screws. (picture "A")
Charge the battery for 1 night
Done!
