12. WARNING! Food Safety Hazard:
• Always use only food/beverage-grade CO
• Never use any CO Carbonator* originally intended for

13. Never remove the bottle during carbonation. DO NOT discharge
CO cylinder unless a SodaStation

carbonating unit.
14. Only carbonate drinking water. Add flavors after carbonation.
15. Always place the unit on a level, stable, and water-resistant
surface.
16. The unit must always be upright during operation.
17. Do not submerge the unit under water and do not clean while in
operation.
18. Only use the unit when a filled bottle is inserted. Never attempt
to fill an empty bottle with CO
19. WARNING: Bottle contents are under pressure.
20. Hand wash bottle with soap and warm water. Never place in
dishwasher. Never use brushes, abrasives, or chemical cleaners.
21. Do not use bottle if deformed, scratched, or discolored, or if the
expiration date has passed. Replace it with a new bottle.
22. WARNING: Explosion Hazard. Always store CO
in a cool, dry place, away from any type of heat exposure.
Exposing to heat can cause Carbonator* pressure to build and
release CO gas unexpectedly. Do not touch a Carbonator*

while CO is being released; wait until all the CO

and Carbonator* has come to room temperature.
