Cleaning the Dust Container and
Filters
Please Note!
■
Do not wet-clean the EPA fi lter!
■
Never assemble wet or damp com-
ponents or attach them to the motor
unit!
1. Empty the dust container (13), and
detach it from the motor unit (see
above).
2. For thorough cleaning, the dust
container can also be removed com-
pletely. To do this, lift up the release
button (11) and slide out the locking
catch.
3. Then slide the locking catch all the
way back into the recess and shut
the dust container until you hear it
engage.
4. Remove the metal fi lter (12) from the
dust container.
5. The EPA fi lter is located in the metal
fi lter. Remove the bottom cap and
pull off the metal fi lter.
6. Tap out all parts and clean them with
a soft brush if necessary.
7. Wipe out the dust container and met-
al fi lter with a damp cloth if necessary.
Let them dry completely in the air
before you reassemble them!
8. The device is assembled in the re-
verse order: Place the metal fi lter onto
the EPA fi lter. Place on the end cap
and insert into the dust container. In-
sert the dust container into the motor
unit (see above).
The EPA fi lter may lose some of
its colour over time. This is normal
and does not have any adverse
effect on function.
