MACHINE SET UP
EXTENSION PLATE
One extension plate on the input tray of the PA–S/PAS–T is used to complete
the paper path between the AGR–P/AGR–T and the PA–S/PAS–T.
Whenever the sheet size is changed this plate must be slid in or out to com-
pensate for the size. The proper setting is so the extension just touches the
intermediate tray.
INPUT MARBLES
The input section has racks holding a
combination of metal marbles and plastic
marble. The plastic marble is located in an
adjustable holder and should be positio-
ned at the edge of the set.
On the PAS-T both racks can be moved to
accommodate the various widths of the
stitched sets. The racks are secured with
an allen screw.
To move the racks:
1.
Stop the machine with the Stop
Switch or the Emergency Stop Switch.
2.
Lift the safety cover.
3.
Remove the lock screws
with the "T" wrench provided.
4.
Slide the rack to the desired location.
5.
Secure in place with the lock screws.

The steel marbles give more drive than the plastic marbles. If too much drive is present, the
set will hit the paper stops and bounce back or buckle causing erratic fold position. Removing
one of the steel marbles may correct this condition. If there is not enough drive the set will not
reach the paper stops before being folded and again cause the fold position to be erratic.
Remember it is not necessary to use all the marbles on each job.
