Electrical connection – Commissioning with factory settings
 Connect voltage supply and, if necessary, switching input, USB service interface
and host/bus interface.
 Switch on operating voltage, PWR LED must illuminate green
 Activate scanner via switching input or using the key pad / display; the laser
switches on.
 Hold the following "LEUZE" sample bar code up to the BCL 6xxi at a distance of
approx. 500 mm.
Upon successful completion of the read operation, the sensor beam switches off
and the read result is shown in the display.
 End the reading gate by removing the switching input signal or with the aid of the
key pad / display.
