GENERAL INFORMATION

This chapter contains general information which all users of the
manual must be familiar with. Specific information for individual
users of the manual is provided in subsequent chapters (" IN-
STRUCTIONS FOR .... " ).

1 APPLIANCE SPECIFICATIONS

• The data plate is located at the bottom of the appliance.
• The appliance model and serial number are also detailed on
decals and on the packaging.

2 GENERAL PRESCRIPTIONS

The manufacturer will not be liable for
any damage or injury resulting from fai-
lure to observe the following rules.

REMINDERS FOR THE INSTALLER

• Read this manual carefully. It provides important information
for safe installation, use and maintenance of the appliance.
• Appliance maintenance must be carried out by qualified tech-
nicians authorized by the manufacturer, in compliance with
current safety standards and the instructions in this manual.
• Identify the specific appliance model. The model number is
detailed on the packaging and on the appliance data plate.
• The appliance must be installed in a well-ventilated room.
• Do not obstruct any air vents or drains present on the ap-
pliance.
• Do not tamper with appliance components.
• During installation do not place in contact with surfaces, side
panels, partitions, kitchen units or similar elements, unless
they are made of non-combustible material or are covered
with non-combustible heat-insulated material. In addition,
pay the utmost attention to fire prevention regulations.
• The appliance must be used in non-saline environments with
max. humidity 75%, with a temperature of between +5°C
(41°F) and + 35°C (95°F) and in any case in an environment
that does not cause any malfunction of the device.
• Important! This appliance must not be positioned above any
heat-producing appliance.

REMINDERS FOR THE USER

• Read this manual carefully. It provides im-
portant information for safe installation,
use and maintenance of the appliance.
• Keep this manual in a safe place known to
all users so that it can be consulted throu-
ghout the working life of the appliance.
• Appliance installation and maintenance
must be carried out by qualified techni-
cians authorized by the manufacturer, in
compliance with current safety standards
and the instructions in this manual.
• For after-sales service, contact technical
assistance centers authorized by the ma-
nufacturer and demand the use of original
spare parts.

• Have the appliance serviced at least twice
a year. The manufacturer recommends ta-
king out a service contract.
• The appliance is designed for professional
use and must be operated by trained per-
sonnel.
• The appliance is to be used for cooking
food as specified in the reminders for use.
Any other use will be considered improper.
• Avoid operating the appliance when emp-
ty.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended
while in operation.
• If the appliance breaks down or malfun-
ctions, turn off the power supply main
switch (installed upline of the appliance)
and unplug the appliance.
• Clean the appliance following the instruc-
tions given in Chapter " INSTRUCTIONS
FOR CLEANING".
• Do not store flammable materials in close
proximity to the appliance. FIRE HAZARD.
• The appliance may be used by children no
younger than 8 years of age and by per-
sons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, as long as they are super-
vised or have been instructed concerning
safe use of the appliance, understanding
the hazards involved. Children must not
be allowed to play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and maintenance to be carried
out by the user must not be performed by
unsupervised children.
• Do not obstruct any air vents or drains pre-
sent on the appliance.
• Do not tamper with appliance components.
• The workplace must be kept clean and tidy
and free of any objects which might hinder
freedom of movement. Workplace lighting
must be adequate for the tasks performed.
Insufficient or excessive lighting may con-
stitute a safety hazard.
• Make sure that the workplace is well ven-
tilated and that the extractor systems are
working correctly, are in good condition
