maintenance of the machine. This manual is an integral part of the machine and must be kept throughout
the entire service life of the same for future consultation.

This manual reflects the state-of-the-art at the moment the machine was supplied and cannot be

1. MACHINE FEATURES

1.1. U
NIT APPLICATION
Only professional use
Clinox REC is designed and built to remove, on stainless steel, no protective oxides and burnings formed during
welding operations and to restore the initial state of passivity.
Clinox REC permits to polish the welding on stainless steel too
Pay attention:
however you must be carefully not to use this machine on steels that can be particularly sensitive to the
liquid used (ex. AISI 430), in which case white stains can appear. In case of doubt try a preliminary test on
a sample or please contact N

incorrect use of the machine or use by untrained personnel;

use in violation of the reference standards;

incorrect installation;

unsuitable main power supply;

serious weaknesses in the maintenance;

use of not original spare parts or spare parts not specified as suitable for the model in question;

use of not recommended liquids by NITTY-GRITTY or not specific for this model;

total or partial inobservance of the instructions;

ENERAL DESCRIPTION
Clinox REC consists of a metal frame, with two wheels and metal handlebars for manual handling, air inlet for
compressed air pump, resistant to acids, and two torches connected to two separate tanks, where it is possible put the
same electrolytic solution or solutions with different characteristics (more or less acid).
NOTE: The small torch is sold as an accessory in a special kit named CLEAN&BRILL kit (Picture F).
