ROTECTION DEVICES

HERMAL PROTECTION
The unit is protected by a special device which starts operating in case of accidental overheating of the inverter. After
the intervention of this device, the machine automatically stops working. When the temperature of the inverter is again
within the normal values, the unit automatically starts supplying electrical power.

ROTECTION AGAINST SHORT
The machine is equipped with a safety device against short circuits that may occur between the electrodes installed on
the torch and the workpiece
To reactivate the machine is simply detach the electrode from the workpiece.
2.3. R
ESIDUAL RISKS
During the use of the machines, the residual risks are extremely low following the safety rules given in Chapter 2.1 and
the operating instructions explained in in this manual.
However, there are residual risks related to the high temperature reached by the electrode, the possible contact with the
electrolyte solutions and the potential operator exposure to possible harmful fumes generated during processing.
Therefore, we recommend the use of personal protective equipment listed in Chapter 2.1.
