SUMMARY OF MODELS
These Operating Instructions apply for the balances in the PE model line presented here. Operation of these balances is identical. The differences are in the weighing
range, readability and size of the weighing pan.
PE360 DeltaRange
Weighing range
360 g
– DeltaRange
60 g
Readability
0.01 g
– in the DeltaRange 0.001 g
These PE models are equipped with:
– Nonmetric unit-of-weight displays, which make it possible to indicate weights not only in metric units of weight but also in several nonmetric units. For the
sake of simplicity, all operating procedures, information and technical data in these Operating Instructions are given in grams. However, the same also applies
to nonmetric units of weight which can be selected by the user.
– Autocalibration, a semiautomatic calibration device used to adjust the weighing accuracy.
– METTLER TOLEDO DeltaDisplay, a special display mode which is useful when weighing-in.
– Stability detector, a signal indicating unstable weighing results.
– OFF display, a signal indicating that a power failure has occurred earlier.
– Overload indication, which tells the operator that the balance has exceeded its weighing range.
– Underload indication, which tells the operator that the balance has not reached its minimum load.
– Plastic draft shield, which prevents unstable weight indications caused by drafts (supplied as standards equipment in PE360 only).

PE3600 DeltaRange
Weighing range
3600 g
-
DeltaRange
600 g
Readability
0.1 g
– in the DeltaRange
0.01 g
The two balances, the PE360 DeltaRange and the
PE3600 DeltaRange, allow you to weigh very easily
in two different ranges: either the coarse range, or
the fine range (DeltaRange) whose readability is 10
times greater and which can be shifted to any place
within the entire balance weighing range.
