Mounting steps

How to wire the filter:
1. Deenergise the control cabinet and fuse it against re−energisation.
2. Connect the connection cables "Load" 2 to the basic device.
– Observe the mounting instructions for the standard device!
3. Mount the PE conductor to the PE stud 1 using the ring cable lug.
– Observe tightening torque!
4. Connect the mains cables to screw terminal "Line" 0.
– Observe tightening torque!
5. Wire the terminals of the thermal contact 3.
– Integrate the thermal contact into the monitoring system so that the mains supply
is switched off when the filter is overheated.
– NC contact, switching capacity: 250 V AC / 1.6 A
– Connect the twisted cables.
– Observe tightening torque.
– Normally, twisted cables are sufficient to wire the thermal contact. In rare cases,
the evaluation of temperature may be faulty. In this case, we recommend to use
shielded cables, to mount the shield sheet of the accessory kit, and to attach the
cable shield to the shield sheet.
