Programming the video matrixes

The DCIR remote control can be used to program the SM and LXRPS series video matrixes.
To program the matrixes:
Press the Menu key, if the programming display does not appear on matrix channel 1 this means the
system password has been changed from the default value
If a system password has been inserted, key it in (4 digits from 1 to 8 inserted with a maximum of 3 seconds
between the insertion of successive digits)
Move between the various menu functions using the numeric keys from 1 to 8
Exit the various displays by confirming the function "end of configuration" or by pressing the SEQ key
If LXRPS series matrixes are used, utilise the following keys:
8: to shift down
3: to shift up
6: to shift to the right
7: to shift to the left
Enter: to confirm
Seq: for previous menu / to exit menu
See the respective matrix instruction manuals for details about the functions

Using the advanced functions (only for enabled receivers)

The DCIR remote control can be used to define preset positions in those receivers that allow them, and to recall
them manually or automatically.
Preset function
• Position the pan & tilt at the desired position
• Press the Preset key followed by a number (from 1 to 99) corresponding to that position
• The position will be stored with the number assigned to it
Note: if the preset position is less than 10 (pressing 0 alone corresponds to number 10 however) press
Preset directly followed by the number. If, instead, the preset position is greater than 10 press Preset,
followed by ./.., followed by the digits composing the preset position and then OK
for example, to store preset position No. 5:
press Preset and then press 5
to preset position 13, instead:
press, in sequence, the keys Preset + ./.. + 1 + 3 + OK.
To preset position 10, pressing Preset + 0 or Preset +./.. +1 +0 + OK will give the same result
NB: In current receivers, it is possible to store a maximum of 14 preset positions (DTRX3 and DTRXDC
receivers). If a DTRX3 receiver is used with the Macro communication protocol and the DCIR telemetry
line is set up for Macro, it is possible to store (preset) and recall (scan) a maximum of 40 positions.
Scan Function:
• Press the Scan key followed by a number (from 1 to 99)
• The pan & tilt will shift to the preset position for the number selected (if stored)
The same remarks hold as those for the Preset function.
For example, to recall position 8:
press scan and then 8
To recall a position greater than 9, for example 12:
press, in sequence, scan + ./.. + 1 + 2 + OK
To recall position 10, pressing Scan + 0 or Scan + ./.. + 1 + 0 + OK will achieve the same result
Programming the Patrol function:
It is possible to use two different patrol sequences:
Standard patrol sequence (14 positions), compatible with all models of receivers provided with this
function (DTRX3 and DTRXDC)
Extended patrol sequence (99 positions) only compatible, for the moment, with DTRX3 in Macro
protocol mode (the DTRX3 receiver is limited to 40 positions however).
