Remote control and switching functions
Video switching keys
The DCIR remote control can be used to control up to 999 input videos (or telemetry receivers) and 99 output
devices (monitors) if the Macro communication protocol setting (SM series matrixes) is used for the video line.
On the other hand, it is possible to control a maximum of 16 input videos/receivers and 4 output videos if the
Linxs type video protocol is used (LXRPS series matrixes). Obviously, depending on the type of system, care
must be taken not to use non-existent input /output videos.

matrix channel. If the 0 key is pressed alone this corresponds to the
number 10.
./.. Key (with the OK key): used to select camera numbers greater than 9.

For example, to switch input 14 to the enabled matrix channel:

On the other hand, to switch input 107 to the enabled matrix channel:

Seq key: used to return the enabled channel to automatic switching sequence
mode. For SM series matrixes it can be used to exit the various displays
of the on screen configuration menus.
Esc key: used to exit the various displays of the on screen configuration
menus (only LXRPS series matrixes). In any case, if an error is made
while pressing a sequence of keys, pressing the Esc key will cancel the
Esc

Mon key: followed by a number (from 1 to 9), used to enable the output
channel (monitor) on which to operate. For monitor numbers greater than

the active output, according to the current matrix setting for the switching
sequence in the matrix (day or night).
Reset key: resets alarm conditions. Also used during on screen matrix set up.
N.B. Reset by the Remote Control is only possible if the function has been
enabled during matrix set up.
