Prepare the Hood

1 ] If present, remove all protective polyfilm from the hood and/or parts.
2 ] Remove 7" Round Duct Plate from top/back of hood (see illustration below). Keep the screws
3 ] Turn the hood upside down. Grab the front edge of the decorative panel and lift it to detach
4 ] Using a 11/32" nutdriver or socket, remove both lock nuts retaining the flange of the cover plate

for further use.
2 SCREWS
the panel from the front magnets (A). Remove the decorative panel from the hood by tilting it
slightly to disengage it from 3 hooks (B), then set aside the panel.

MAGNETS
to the inner back of hood (see insets). Remove the cover plate retaining screws (10 screws),
then set the blowers cover along with its screws and nuts aside.
