Parameterisation of the control | Basic procedure

In this chapter, you will learn how to best proceed for setting the individual parameters
of the control. This procedure is in particular useful if you want to set several parameters
one after another. In chapter 5 „Parameterisation mode" , you will learn how to perform
the individual steps.
TIP: If you want to set only one parameter and do not want to learn the operating con-
cept of the control, in chapter 6 "Parameter setting | Explained step by step" on page
24 you can find for each parameter detailed instructions on how to set the parameter.
In this case, you can skip this chapter and chapter 5 „Parameterisation mode" .
TIP: If you are already familiar with how to change settings and know how to go, for exam-
ple, to the parameterisation mode, how to switch between setting levels and parameters
and how to change parameters, you can also change parameters just by changing the
parameter overview, see chapter 3.3 "Parameter" , page 21.
Best procedure for setting several parameters
Identify the desired parameters
X Select the parameters you want to change from the overview, see chapter 3.3
"Parameter" , page 21.
Loading the parameterisation mode
X Load the parameterisation mode of the control at the luminaire.
Switching setting levels
X If the desired parameter is not at the setting level 1: Switch the setting level.
Switching parameters
X Switch to the desired parameter.
Changing parameters
X Change the parameter setting.
Setting further parameters
X If required, navigate to further parameters you want to set and change their set-
tings. In the parameterisation mode, you can switch the setting level at any time
and switch to a different parameter.
Saving settings and exiting the parameterisation mode
X Once you have set all parameters: Wait for ten seconds.
The control is no longer in the parameterisation mode. Previously changed
parameters will be saved.
